In game two of the double header the Cougars jut couldnt get anywhere offensivley. They would get three hits, and two errors.
Kyle Waldrop of the Snappers pitched a complete game three hitter. He walked one and struck out three. The Cougars wouldnt get their first hit untill one out in the second inning. They wouldn't get a runner past second base all game.
Waldrop retired eleven in a row at one point and 13 out of his last 14 he faced. Wes Long, Travis Chapman and Myron Leslie are the only ones to get a hit against him.
The Snappers would score three runs. In the first inning, Landon Burt led off the game with a single back to the pitcher Michael Rogers. Angelo Fermin then walked. Deacon Burns would follow that with a double to right to score Burt. Rogers then struck out David Winfree for the first out. Johnny Woodard then hit a sacrifice fly to right to allow Fermin to score. Jeremy Pickrel struck out to end the inning.
Beloit scored again in the second inning. With one out Mitch Zamojc doubled to center. Korey Feiner walked. On ball four Zamojc stole third, the throw by Chapman went into left and allowed Zamojc to score.
With one out in the fourth inning the Snappers had another opportunity to score. Paul Rutgers singled to third, then stole second. Zamojc struck out. Feiner then flied to right to end the inning. In the fifth inning with one out, Fermin singled to right. Burns then grounded out to first. Winfree was intentionally walked after the new pitcher James Heuser threw two balls. Woodard then flew out to center to end the inning.
Pickrel led off the sixth with a single to center. He was then picked off of first. Rutgers flew out to left. Zamojc would strike out.
Clay Tichota did a nice job in an inning of work to close out the game. He would get two ground outs and a strike out.
