The Cougars almost lost another one, this time because of the lack

The Lumberkings had a runner left at third base in the seventh through
the tenth.

two runs. Randy Messenger and Steve Sawyer pitched a combined four
innings of shutout ball. Only giving up four hits.
Chip Ambres had three hits again, this time he lead the game off with
a home run. Kevin Hooper also had three hits.

for Cabrera for an infield single. Brandon Watson then singled to right
to score Downing. On the play McMillon tried to score and rightfielder
Josh Willingham threw him out at the plate to keep it a tied game.

glove of Wilson at thrid. On a pickoff attempt Dominic Woody threw the
ball into right field to allow Rombley to got to second. A wild pitch
would move Rombley to third. Wilson Valdez then singled up the middle to
score Valdez to give Clinton the lead.

Adrian Gonzalez lead the inning off by getting hit by a pitch. Pat Magness
then walked. McMillon tried to throw behind Magness to keep him close to
first base but threw the ball into rightfield. Gonzalez would score on
the play with Magness only making it to second base.

started out with both Pat Magness and Josh Willingham walking. Miguel
