Cummings led off with a singled, then stole second. He went to third on a wild pitch. Russo then singled to center to score Cummings

Becker led off with a double. Matt Morse then singled, Becker went to third. Becker would score on a double play.

Kane County 6th
Steve Godin and Jose Millares both singled. Bo Davis would double home Godin.

Kane County 9th
Keith Schmidt singled. Zaun bunted him to second. Zaun would reach when Schmidt beat the force throw at second. Shaun Hrabar then bunted the runners over. Dan Ramirez was intentionally walked to load the bases. Brad Tyler flew out to left. The throw home would get Schmidt at the plate to end the game.
