Well The Turtle Won After All
The scoring started in the top of the first when Dan Boyd lead things
off with a single to left. Travis Hinton then walked. On ball four, catcher
Dennis Anderson thought it must've been only ball three , since Boyd was going
on the play Anderson threw down to second, and over the head of William Arroyo. Boyd would
get to third on the play. Jason Belcher then singled to left to score Boyd.
The Cougars would tie the game up in the third inning when, William Arroyo led things off
with a single to right. He would then be caught trying to steal second. Charles Frazier walked. Anthony
Brewer popped up to short. Scott Hicks then hit a triple to center to score Frazier.
In the sixth inning Jason Stokes would hit a solo homer to right field to get the Cougars
the lead.
Travis Hinton led the eighth off with a single to right for the Snappers. Jason Belcher then
popped out to right. Florian Villanueva singled to left. Brad Nelson then singled oto center to
score Hinton. Chris Barnwell then doubled to center to score Villanueva. The Cougars then brought in John Skinner.
Brandon Gemoll then grounded out ot second. On the play Nelson would score.

Notes-Allen Baxter hurt his forearm today, in the fourth and had to be removed from the
game.
Before the game the Cougars added catcher Dennis Anderson to their roster, this is his third tour of duty with the
Cougars. Guy Lynam went to extended spring training.
