A great outing by Michael Rogers is wasted as the Peoria Chiefs come back in the ninth to win the game 3-2 over the cougars. Rogers pitched seven innings and gave up eight hits. He only gave up one run, while walking one and striking out four. Sean Gallagher opposed him and pitched equally as well. He would go six innings, giving up two hits and one unearned run.
