What a diffrence a day makes, this time instead of scoring a combined twenty one runs, they score a combined six. It ws a good pitched game at the beginin then the offenses began to get started a litte. Trent Peterson is his first Cougars start was great. He gave up one hit in five innings. He walked one and struck out five.
Peterson retired the first six in a row, then gave up a single to Michael Cox. After that he retired the next eight in a row before he gave up a walk to Cox. Jairo Garcia was also great, he retired the last four men he faced to get the save.
The Cougars scored first with two runs in the sixth innings. Eddie Kim led off with a single to left. One out later Dustin Majewski singled to left. Vasili Spanos would reach on a fielder's choice, Kim owuld be out at third. Spanos just beat the throw from third that would've been a double play. Kory Wayment then doubled to right center to drive home both Majewski and Spanos.
Two more runs for the Cougars in the seventh inning to give them a four run lead. Brian Ingram led things off with a walk. Luke Appert then singled to center. A wild pitch would move them along to second and third. David Castillo walked to load the bases. Kim then reached on a fielder's choice, with Ingram being out at the plate, with the infield pulled in. The Rattlers then made a pitching change to bring in Kenly Change to replace Brandon Perry. Snyder greated him on the first pitch with a single to left. The left fielder Josh Ellison overan the ball for an error. On the play Appert would score, on the error Castillo would score. Majewski then walked to reload the bases. Spanos would strike out. Wayment grounded out back to the pitcher to end the inning.
Wisconsin scored their two runs in the eighth inning. Cox singled to center to led things off. Two outs later, Ellison singled to center. Evel Bastida then pitch hit for Oswaldo Navarro, he would walk which would load the bases. With Adam Jones things would start to fall apart for Daniel Fyvie. First instead of being ahead in the count at 1-2 a ball would be called because he went to his mouth while on the mound. The on strike three to Jones he would throw a really wild pitch that would score both Cox and Ellison. I though that it was a foul ball that just went behind and to the back stop, but oh well. The Cougars then made a pitching change and brought in Garcia. He would strike out Chris Collins on three pitches to get out of the inning.

Notes-Well Max Ackerman threw out the first pitch today, well ok it was more of a roll after it landed about five feet after he threw it but oh well. I guess the arm is the first thing to go when you get his age.
