Notes-Well, im on vacation for the week traveling around seeing some former Cougars. Today it was the Nashville Sounds at the Iowa Cubs. Matt Erickson was playing for Nashville, or he was on the bench in this game. Scott McClain and Will Cunnane played for Iowa. McClain went 1-4, with a double, a run and was caught looking once. Cunnane pitched two innings, giving up two runs, two hits, two walks, and two strikeouts. He came in for the sixth inning, and walked the first man, then gave up a two run homer to left to Mike Rivera. He then got a ground out, a strike out and a pop out to end the inning. With one out in the seventh he gave up a single, then a walk. Cunnane then was able to get an inning ending double play.
Tomorrow its on to Omaha, to see the Memphis Redbirds and the Omaha Royals. Former Cougars, Jaime Jones and Luis Ugueto are playing for Omaha. I hope to have at least a pic of each of the ex-Cougars online sometime in the near future.
