Blackies on Clark and Polk, 2 pm

Larry Tye, author of "Satchel:The Life and Times of an American Legend," will be speaking at the 2010 Printers Row Lit Fest at 1pm as part of a panel entitled "The Art of Biography". Also on the panel will be Chicago SABR Chapter member Jonathan Eig, whose recently published biography of Al Capone has garnered a lot of attention in the press. The Lit Fest is held on Dearborn Ave. between Harrison and Polk Streets just South of Chicago's Loop.

After the talk, at around 2pm, Chicago SABR Chapter members will gather at Blackies on Clark and Polk for an informal discussion of Larry's book and baseball in general. We are hoping that Larry will be able to join us for this event.
