Brad Knox threw a great game, he threw seven innings of three hit ball. Brad gave up one runs and one walk. He also struck out five. He had a no hitter going untill the fourth inning, and didnt give up the run untill the sixth inning.

With one out in the sixth Justin Arneson doubled to left, he would get to third on a wild pitch. One out later Brock Peterson hit a slow roller to third that he beat, on the play Arneson would score. By that time in the game the Cougars had already scored seven runs.

Brian Ingram led off the first inning with a single to right. Luke Appert then reached on a fielder's choice, with Ingram being out at second. Brian Snyder would then follow with a single to left. Eddie Kim walked to load the bases with only one out. Vasili Spanos then hit into a inning ending double play.

The Cougars would score three runs in the third inning. Ingram and Appert both walked. Snyder then singled to left to load the bases. Kim would hit a double down the left field line to score both Ingram and Appert. One out later Dustin Majewski grounded out to second, on the play Snyder would score.

Four more runs for the Cougars in the fifth inning. Appert led off with an infield single. Snyder was then hit by a pitch. One out later Spanos singled to right to load the bases. Majewski would single to center to score Appert. Trevor Brown doubled to center to score Snyder, Spanos and Majewski.

The final two runs would come in the seventh inning, Majewski led off with a walk. Brown then singled to right. Luis Perez would reach on an infield single to third to allow Majewski to score. Nick Rogers followed with a fly to center. Ont he play Brown would tag up and score the final run of the game.

The story of the game was Knox, he was now the league leader in strikeouts, and innings pitched. He was second in earned run average. After he gave up his first hit in the fourth inning, there were men on first and second with nobody out. Knox got Kyle phillips to pop out to left. He then struck out Peterson and Kyle Geiger to get out of trouble.

It was more of the same in the fifth, Mark Zamojc scored a leadoff walk, then stole second. Knox got Scott Whitrock to strikeout. Paul Rutgers and Alex Garcia then both flew out to end the inning.
