Jerry Gill would reacho n a fielder's choice with Avlas out at second for the second out. Doc Brooks then struck out to end the inning.

McCurdy did it again with another single this time to left with two outs in the sixth. He would steal second and move to third on a wild pitch. Stavisky then singled to center to drive him home. In the seventh the Cougars would score again, this time with one out. Kory Wayment walked. Gomez then doubled to left to score Wayment.

Matt Lynch would be taken out of the game after the sixth inning and Shawn Kohn would come in to pitch the seventh. On the third pitch he throws he hits Brandon SImon who was pitch hitting for Teilon. Jeff Cook then popped out to third. David Tosca then came in and pitch hit for Avlas, he would ground out to second to move the runner along to second base. Jerry Gil singled to right to score Simon. Gil would then be caught stealing second to end the inning.

With one out in the eighth the Cougars could've score more runs. McCurdy walked. Stavisky then doubled to left to get McCurdy to third.
