A 10th inning RBI double by Ronny Cedeno propelled the Lugnuts past the West Michigan WhiteCaps 3-2 on Friday night.
The WhiteCaps took an early 1-0 lead when David Mattle hit his second home run in the first inning.
The Lugnuts scored twice in the third for a 2- advantage. Buck Coats hit a sacrifice fly to center, scoring Corey Slavik, and Brad Bouras singled in Ryan Theriot.
Tied 2-2, Corey Slavik started the Lansing half of the 10th with a double. Then with two outs Ronny Cedeno drove him home with a double of his own.
Steve Ellis (3-1) got the win in relief. Mark Carter pitched the 10th to earn his first save.
The loss dropped the WhiteCaps to 12-16.
