Clinton Lumberkings at Beloit Snappers

Douglas Clar, Kevin Richardson and Andrew Wishy each homered and combined fro seven RBI's, and recent first round draft choice Thomas Diamond got a win in his Clinton debut as the Lumberkings rolled to a 10-4 win over the Beloit Snappers Friday.
Wishy went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's. Clark and Richardson drove in two runs apiece. Micah Furtado also drove in a run for Clinton, which ended a six game losing streak.
Diamond worked five innings, allowing two runs on three hits. He struck out four and walked one.
Joel Kirsten went the final four innings for the L-Kings to earn his third save. He allowed two runs, one earned, on four hits. He struck out three and walked one.
Clinton built a 3-0 lead with a run in the first and two more in the second. Beloit shaved the margin to 3-2 with two runs in the third before the Lumberkings pulled away to a 10-2 advantage with two runs in the fifth and sixth innings before pushing three runs across in the eighth.
After splitting the two games of the four game set, the teams meet again tonight at 7pm. before closing the series at 2pm, Sunday
