The Lumberkings gave the Cougars the win in todays game. In the ninth inning they walked four hitters and walked in the winning run. With one out Lumberking pitcher Joldy Watts walked Dustin Majewski. Then he walked Luke Appert. Clinton brought in Tim Cunningham to replace Watts,he would walk Eddie Kim to load the bases. Again the Kings brought in another hurler, this time Cesar Herrera. He would get to a full count on David Castillo before walking him and bring in home Majewski to win the game.

The Cougars had chances early. In the first with one out Nick Rogers singled to center. Appert then was hit by a pitch. Eddie Kim would ground out to first. That would make it runners on second and third with two outs. Castillo then struck out to end the inning. In the fifth inning with two outs they would strand two more runners. Brian Ingram and Rogers both singled. Appert grounded out to first for the third out.

Meanwhile the Kings scored first. In the third inning. With one out Cody Clark walked. Dane Bubela singled to left. One out later Abigal Sandoval doubled to left to score Clark. Micah Furtado was hit by a pitch, to put runners at first and third with two outs. Cougars starter, Brad Knox would strike out Justin Hatcher to get out of it.

Knox pitched well, he just didnt get any run support again. He went six inning giving up three hits and one run. Brad walked two and struck out ten. He had a no hitter going untill the third inning with one out. After the third inning he would give up a single to leadoff the fourth to Andrew Wishy. Then Emerson Frostad bunted him to second. Kevin Richardson would strike out. Cody Clark walked. After that walk Knox retired the next seven in a row.

The Cougars had two more runners on base in the sixth inning. With one out Castillo singled to third. Trevor Brown would single to left. Kory Wayment was caught looking for the second out. Chris Tritle then lined out to center to strand the two runners. In the seventh inning the Cougars would tie the game with a run. With one out, Ingram walked. He would get to second on a wild pitch. The catcher got to the ball in time to make a throw down to second to try to get Ingram out. The throw went into centerfield and Ingram would make it to third. After that the Kings made a pitching change, bringin in Watts to replace Brian Mattoon. Dustin Majewski pitch hit for Rogers and flied out to third. Appert singled to center to score Ingram. Kim followed with a single to center, Majewski made it to third, and Kim would get to second only after the centerfielder bobbeld the ball. Castillo was intentionally walked to load the bases. Brown struck out on three pitches to end the threat.

Dan Fyvie pitched well in relief of Knox. He went the next two innings of perfect baseball. He got five ground outs. Jose Corchado finished it off with an inning of work. He walked the leadoff man, then struck out two of the next three men to earn the win.
