Comstock Park-West Michigan pitcher Virgil Vasquez made quick work of the South Bend SilverHawks on Saturday night.
Vaqsquez (14-5) allowed just two runs (one earned) on three hits over eight innings, helping the West Michigan WhiteCaps to a 4-2 victory over South Bend in Midwest League baseball action.
Tied at 2, the WhiteCaps seized command by pushing across a pari of runs in the sixth inning against South Bend starter Chris Kinsey.
