walk a man in 31 innings going back to next year. Marc had a no-hitter
going into the fifth inning. He pitched to just the minuim number of
hitters untill the sixth inning, due to a double play.
Michael Flannery then came in and pitched one inning and gave up
a homerun, and also walked two. Brandon Sloan then came in and pitched
the ninth inning for the save.
Adrian Gonzalez hit a homer in the game.
For the Lumberkings, Ben Washburn started and went five innings, he
gave up seven hits. Washburn also allowed five runs, eventhough only
four were earned. He walked one and struck out five. Chris Bye then
came in and pitched two innings and gave up one hit. He walked two and
struck out one. Gerardo Casadiego then came in for the ninth inning,
he pitched a perfect inning while striking out one.
The scoring began in the second inning when Pat Magness walked, Miguel
Cabrera then singled to center. Two outs later, Kevin Hooper then singeld
to right to load the bases. Chip Ambres then doubled to left to score both
Magness and Cabrera. Washburn then threw a wild pitch, on the play Hooper
scored.
Kane County then added a couple more in the fifth when with two outs.
Adrian Gonzalez hit a monster homer midway up the bleachers in right center.
Jim Kavourias then singled to left. Pat Magness then doubled to right.
On the play right fielder Danny Rombley then tried to get Kavourias at
third, but the throw went into the dugout and Kavourias then scored.
The Lumberking would then make it interesting when with Mike Flannery
just coming in to start the inning, the first batter he faces Phil Downing hits
a homerun off of him. One out later, Jose Docen then walked. Wilson Valdez then
walked. Brandon Watson then hit into a fielder's choice, The play went

Tomorrow's Starter, Mike McNutt
Other Stuff-The no- hitter was broken up from what I believe because
of the fact that the guy behind me to the left (John) said that he was
throwing the no-hitter, you jinxs him.
The Cougars defense was definitly improved tonight as there were
far fewer errors than there have been recently the biggest blooper of
the night belonged to the fan in section 107 who let the softy baseball,
go right threw her fingers, but that's alright (BECKY) we won't tell anyone
who it was.
Thank You
