Lansing catcher Lukas McKnight hit his first home run of the season Friday night, but it wasn't enough as the Lugnuts lost to the Fort Wayne Wizards. 2-1
McKnight hit a solo shot in the top of the fifth inning to give the Lugnuts a 1-0 lead.
The Wizards answered in the bottom of the fifth on a Rick Stockton triple which drove in Jon Knot. Stockton scored on a sacrifice fly by Jackson Aquino to put the Wizards up 2-1.
Hector Miliano had two of the Lugnuts six hits, going 2 for 3 with two doubles.
