The Wisconsin TimberRattlers squandered a 6-2 lead over Fort Wayne on Wednesday losing 7-6 in 12 innings to the Wizards in a Midwest League baseball game at Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Rattlers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two run single by Chris Collins, made it 3-1 in the second on a run scoring single by Dan Floyd and 4-2 in the third inning on Greg Dobbs' eighth home run of the season.
The Rattlers extended the lead to 6-2 in the sixth inning on a run scoring single by Jeff Ellena and a run scoring double by Corey Freeman.
The Wizards cut the deficit to one run in the sixth inning on a solo home run by Greg Sain and a two run home run by Nick Trzesniak off Tanner Watson. A two out run scoring double by the Wizards' Joseph Hastings tied the game in the seventh inning.
The Wizards won the game in the 12th inning when Trzesniak led off the inning with a double went to third on a wild pitch and scored on an infield ground ball.
